Kilka linijek niżej znajduje się inny wpis tego Świętego, ale nazwanego tym razem „Basilius Magnus” z rokiem śmierci „379” (wpis #1 dla 2 stycznia), co sugeruje, że w procesie redakcji te wpisy mogły wcześniej dotyczyć róznych Świętych. Wydaje się to potwierdzać wpis #2 z 2 stycznia, który dotyczy św. Telesfora, papieża zmarłego (jak podaje Martyrologium) także w roku „ca. 136”.
